Beaded Netting & Peau de Soie Communion Dress

Beaded floral netting bodice with sheer scalloped edge sleeves and a split peau de soie skirt over beaded netting creates a stunning communion design. Slight "v" waistline with covered satin buttons on the back bodice and large satin bow with sash tails that can be personalized with the communicants name and date, creating a lasting keepsake of her special day. (Sash tails can be easily changed for future wearers). Fully lined with silky lining fabric. White only. Also available with short puffy peau de soie sleeves, sleeveless, cap sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve. Each dress is custom made to fit your specific measurements. There are no returns on personalized, custom made dresses. Beaded netting fabric will vary depending on availability. Irish accents may be added to all items available on this website.

Communion Size - Custom Options

Custom Sizing Requires Proper and Accurate Measurements: Use a cloth tape measure. If you do not have a cloth tape measure, you can use a string to measure around the body and a ruler to measure the string. Take the measurements undressed or use the undergarments that the young girl will be wearing with the dress. The dresses are fully lined, no undergarments are generally necessary. Pull your tape measure snug, but not too tight. Have the young girl stand up straight and tall, and relax with arms down at her side while recording the measurements. Repeat to check for accuracy. (Please make your measurements in inches).

Marianne made a beautiful hand-smocked Baptism gown for my grandaughter along with a smocked pillow with her name embroiderd on it. The dress also had a hat,Bib with name, and Marianne emproiderd the name and date on the slip. I now have another grandaughter and I returned the slip to have her name and date embroiderd on it in 2009. She also made a new bib with the new babies name. There was a time factor on the slip and bib, Marianne came through on time. I don't think I'll have any more grandchildren, but when the two have babies of their own we hope to continue the tradition of names and dates on the slip. Thus making this dress and heirloom to be passed through the family.
