This elegant Irish Linen christening gown has beautiful wide scalloped cotton lace with crosses and hearts with the Christian symbol JHS (See meaning below) and tucks on the skirt. Embroidered Celtic cross with radiating pintucks and shamrocks add to the skirt detail. Pintucks and featherstitching accent the front yoke with tiny shamrock appliques, ribbon beading & bow with streamers. Peter pan collar with gathered cotton lace edging. The gown has a double row of heart buttons down the back yoke to adjust the size and is open in the skirt portion to allow for easier changings and the ability to spread the skirt out fully for beautiful portraits. Includes a matching cross lace bonnet with adjustable back casing and cotton batiste slip trimmed with lace which can be personalized with baby's name and christening date. Available in white Irish Linen (shown), silk dupione, satin, shantung, cotton batiste or linen batiste. Short sleeve (shown) or long available.
