Dupione silk is an elegant, high-end fabric with a gorgeous texture and sheen. In comparison to other fabrics, silk is considered to be the most luxurious and regal looking. Most expensive of all available fabrics, this 100% silk is imported from India or China. Recommended: dry clean only.
This polyester fabric was created to mimic the look of silk and is a popular alternative for a pure white color, since silk is more ivory in color. It washes easily and is wrinkle resistant.
100% cotton, linen batiste is lightweight with the woven texture of heavierweight hankerchief linen.

This special weave has a very smooth finish on one side; kind of a silky sheen and luster to normally dull cotton. It is finely woven with a silky drape. It is a great hybrid of cotton and silk, incorporating the breathability and moisture-wicking properties of cotton with the sheen of silk. Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle, tumble dry low.
Charmeuse is a lightweight polyester fabric woven with a satin weave. The front side of the fabric has a shiny satin finish - lustrous and reflective - whereas the back has a dull finish. Polyester charmeuse can often withstand machine washing, but it does not breathe as well as silk. Charmeuse differs from plain satin in that charmeuse is softer and lighter in weight.
