I purchased a Christening gown for my son from Smocked Treasures in 2007. Being old fashioned, I wanted a gown for my son to wear. After searching the internet, I found Marianne's website. I fell in love with the Embroidered Cross Christening Gown and was amazed at how beautiful it was when I received it. Her work is wonderful! The slip underneath was embroidered with my son's name and his Christening date. It is truly a work of art. When my second son arrived, I contacted her to have his name added to the slip. For a VERY nominal fee, she did the extra work for me. She is one of the nicest people I have ever done business with. If you are looking for a gown that can be handed down for generations or even if you will just use it one time, this is the place to get it.
