This custom designed hand smocked & embroidered linen batiste dress with silk ribbon bows is also available in all white or your choice of pastel color accents (add to special requests). Front bodice has an allover geometric design with shaped ribbon bow & Swiss cross applique. Skirt hemline has scalloped french lace shaping, pintucking & featherstitching and wide Victorian lace (see description below). Sleeves have smocking and scalloped shaped French lace insertion with Swiss crosses. Also available with short puffy(shown), long sleeve, 3/4 length, cap sleeve, or sleeveless. Portrait collar (shown) has gathered French lace & lace insertions. Also available with peter pan collar with gathered french lace. Back yoke has heart shaped buttons and sash tails can be personalized with name and communion date to create a lasting keepsake of her special day. (Future names can be added or replaced with new sash tails). Soft semi-bouffant half-slip is attached to the waistline, adding gentle fullness to the dress at the hemline and can be easily removed for future use. Available in white linen batiste (Shown), silk dupione, Irish Linen, cotton sateen, shantung or matte satin. Each dress is custom made to fit your specific measurements - there are no returns on personalized, custom made dresses. Irish accents available on all communion dresses. The cross/heart Victorian cotton lace feature a Christogram "JHS" which is a monogram or combination of letters that forms an abbreviation for the name of Jesus Christ, traditionally used as a Christian symbol.
